About

My Path to Nutritional Therapy

My journey into nutritional therapy wasn't a straight path – it was a winding road of personal health struggles, eureka moments, and a growing fascination with the body's innate intelligence.

With a foundation in Business and Marketing, and a Master’s in Adult Education, I bring a unique blend of corporate insight and human‑centered coaching to my work. My experiences working in the corporate world revealed how often high‑performing professionals struggle to nourish their bodies and feel their best while managing demanding workloads.

That realization inspired me to shift my career toward functional wellness. My studies in Nutrition Science at Stanford University, along with the comprehensive training required to earn my Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certification, prepared me to launch my practice, LiveOn. Today, I translate nutritional science into practical, personalized strategies that help busy professionals restore balance, reclaim their energy, and reconnect with the drive that fuels their best work and fullest lives.

My approach:

Investigative: We'll dig deep to uncover the root causes of your health concerns, not just mask symptoms

Personalized: Your plan will be as unique as you are, adapted to your body, lifestyle, and goals

Evidence-informed: Grounded in current nutritional science, yet flexible enough to honor your body's individual responses

Empowering: My goal is to educate and support you in becoming the expert on your own body

Whether you're dealing with a specific health challenge or seeking to optimize your wellbeing, we'll work together to create sustainable changes that fit your real life.

The Foundations of Health

My approach is built on what Nutritional Therapy calls "The Foundations of Health." These are the five cornerstones of wellness that, when properly supported, allow health to flow naturally.

Optimal Digestion

What we eat has little impact if we can’t digest and absorb the nutrients. Proper digestive function is essential for the health of every cell and system.

Nutrient-Dense Diet

Whole, thoughtfully prepared, foods are a source of joy and nourish the body with the nutrients it needs to thrive.

Blood Sugar Regulation

From energy balance, metabolism, and inflammation to hormone production and mental health, blood sugar regulation is crucial to maintaining wellness.

Quality Sleep

Adequate, quality sleep is essential for optimal physiological and cognitive function.

Stress Management

We cannot always control our stressors, but managing our response to stress has profoundly positive physical and mental impacts on health.

Beyond My Practice

When I'm not working with clients, you might find me trying to grow fruits and vegetables in my backyard garden, dancing in the kitchen with my family, working out and having coffee with friends, or baking sourdough bread with my family sourdough starter, Gus.

I believe in walking the talk – the principles of nutritional therapy aren't just what I teach, they're the foundation of how I live. This firsthand experience allows me to offer not just theoretical knowledge, but practical insights on integrating healthy habits into busy, modern lives.
